Tatsuya Aida’s hand-turned wooden tea caddies seal so tightly that even a single sheet of paper will hardly fit between the body and the lid. Enjoy their smooth roundness with your hand and the pattern of the grain with your eyes. The more you use it, the more you will appreciate the delicate craftsmanship embodied in each unique piece.

We offer tea caddies in three sizes: S (holds approximately 50g of tea), M (holds approximately 80g of tea), and L (holds approximately 140g of tea). They are crafted from a variety of common as well as rare tree species: Japanese walnut, cherry, plum, rosewood, American walnut, quince, black persimmon, and others.
