Samidori was selected from tea plantation in Uji, Kyoto in 1926-1945 and became famous as the Uji tea variety. It has a fresh flavor with a hint of strawberry and a rich taste like steamed beans. It has a rich Umami taste, however also has an elegant and mild aftertaste that fills the mouth. To preserve the delicate taste, store in the refrigerator and use within 2 weeks of opening.
